Luis Alberto García clarified through his social media that he was not ill after Hurricane Rafael passed through Western Cuba, which had concerned his followers. However, he made it clear that it is his country that is not currently experiencing its best moment.

In a video shared on his Instagram profile, the Cuban actor thanked everyone who congratulated him on his birthday on November 10 and those who were concerned about his well-being in the days following the cyclone.

However, in case his words were not clear enough, he added in one of the comments on the post: “Let’s see: perhaps I wasn’t very clear. I wasn’t sick after the cyclone passed nor am I sick right now. When I said ‘my condition,’ I was referring to the agony of being days and nights without electricity, water, and gas.”

“It is my country that is sick. Unwell. In delicate health,” the artist stated, alluding to the misfortunes that have plagued the island in recent weeks.

A few days ago, actress Tahimí Alvariño erupted on social media after six days without electricity in Havana, demanding that the authorities address the ongoing disaster following the hurricane.
