Cuban woman in Miami is surprised by her Walmart receipt: "I literally feel like I haven't bought anything."

A Cuban woman in Miami expresses her surprise at spending 275 dollars at Walmart without feeling like she bought a lot.

Una cubana de Hialeah no ha podido evitar compartir su sorpresa después de hacer una compra de la semana en el supermercado Walmart. Lo hizo en un video que publicó en su perfil de TikTok, donde se identifica como @echusita_.

In the clip, the woman shows the receipt from her last purchase at Walmart, which amounted to 275 dollars, and reflects on the high prices of products.

The Cuban woman recounts that she went out to buy "things that the child and the other people living in the house need," and adds that she has started to adopt the habit of taking a detailed shopping list, like older people do, to avoid impulse buys and stay within her budget.

"I literally feel like I haven't bought anything," she complains while showing the list of purchased items. Among them, she highlights the purchase of "two pieces of meat," which she believes does not justify the high total on the bill. "How long is the market going to be this expensive?" she asks indignantly, holding up the receipt as proof.

The video joins the dozens of users expressing their frustration with the rising cost of living in the United States, particularly regarding food and basic goods. "Everything is so expensive; when I buy meat, the bill is never less than 600," someone commented on the post.
