Almost 50 days have passed since the disappearance of the elderly Heriberto Llánez García in Morón, Ciego de Ávila, and the situation is keeping his entire family on edge.

Now her daughter has made a desperate appeal for help on social media to expand the search beyond the province.

Yamilka Llánez Villanueva requested on her Facebook wall for help in searching for him in Santa Clara, as he is originally from there and they have received reports of having seen him around that area.

"They just informed me that they saw someone who looks very much like him in the Loma del Capiro area, near Vigía, Sandino, and the surrounding places, like the train station and hospitals, because he is originally from there and we live in Morón," he explained.

"I need a photo and to call urgently at 53156657. Thank you, thank you," she wrote.

Yamilka requested that if anyone thinks they see her father, they should take a picture of him and send it to her to verify that it is truly him and not someone who looks similar.

"They say they have seen him in many places, and we have gone to many, but it hasn't been him. I ask for your help in sharing this nationwide, and if you see him, please take a photo and urgently call 53156657. So far, none of the people who have appeared are my dad," she clarified.

Since the gentleman disappeared on the morning of November 11, his family has been searching for him tirelessly. He is not mentally ill. When he left his house, he took neither documents nor phone with him.

"I don't have any photos of what he was wearing. I'm told he left wearing a light blue shirt, gray or light brown pants, a black cap, and a white bag," clarified his daughter, who even offered a reward for anyone who finds him.
