In addition to the already well-known Bark Beach in North Beach (81st Street), two new pet-friendly beaches have been added: one in South Beach (21st Street) and another in Mid Beach (53rd Street), the authorities explained.

This expansion is part of an ongoing effort to make Miami Beach a more pet-friendly destination, catering to the increasing number of residents and visitors who want to include their furry friends in their beach outings.

Dog Beach Hours:
From November to March: 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.

This city in South Florida also urged dog owners to bring water and bags to collect waste, in order to ensure a clean and enjoyable experience for all visitors.

The city also reminds pet owners to keep an eye on their dogs to prevent overheating, especially during the hottest months.

Local authorities indicated last November that the new areas designated for dogs are located in zones with a low concentration of sea turtle nests, ensuring a safe environment for both the animals and the local ecosystem.

With this initiative, the county continues to establish itself as a pet-friendly space, with an increasing number of places, such as bars, restaurants, shops, parks, and hotels, allowing the presence of pets.
