Pardo was the cultured and humble man who never lost his humility despite being immensely talented, something he never boasted about," he mentioned with sorrow.

Furthermore, he expressed: "Personally, he saw me as another son and felt that way about many of us. There wasn't a December 16th that he didn't call to congratulate me on my birthday. A master, a paradigm, an example to follow has left us. Rest in peace, dear friend."
