The price of dollars, euros, and the freely convertible currency (MLC) remained unchanged in the informal market this Tuesday for the third consecutive day in Cuba.

Following a surge driven by recent dollarization measures implemented by the Cuban regime at the beginning of January, the reference currencies on the island have entered a momentary period of stability.

At 8:00 a.m. (Cuban local time) on January 21, the US dollar is trading at 340 CUP, the euro (EUR) at 345 CUP, and the freely convertible currency (MLC) at 240 CUP.
