This morning, workers from the Electric Union (UNE) replaced the burnt connection closet.
Shortly after 11 a.m. this Wednesday, employees from the UNE were working in the area.
As of the close of this report, there are no further details regarding the incident, nor is the cause known.
In early October, a similar fire broke out in the morning hours and prompted a swift response from firefighters and law enforcement agents.

The firefighters, along with security personnel, worked swiftly to extinguish the flames and secure the affected area.
Neither then nor now have the Cuban authorities issued an official statement regarding both fires.
