According to unconfirmed sources, Melania laughs at these statements and claims to be relaxed about it, as she now "has a nanny for Trump."

Elon Musk has once again astonished with his statements on social media, this time openly declaring his admiration for Donald Trump.

In a message posted on X (formerly Twitter) on February 7, the magnate of Tesla and SpaceX responded with a brief but forceful “It’s true” to a quote of his expressing his affection for the President of the United States.

Musk's statements come amid speculation about his closeness to Trump, especially following his appearance on the cover of Time, which depicted him sitting at the Oval Office desk, an image that sparked controversy and, according to unconfirmed rumors, was not favored by the President of the United States.

The businessman had previously stated that "the more I get to know President Trump, the more I like him," and even went on to say that he "loves" him, although he clarified that this affection is within the limits of friendship between two heterosexual men.

The comment generated a wave of reactions on social media, including that of Donald Trump Jr., who quoted Musk's message accompanied by three laughing emojis. Meanwhile, some users on X joked about the nature of the relationship between the two billionaires.

For his part, Trump was asked at a press conference about his wife Melania's stance regarding Musk's words. In his usual style, he responded cheekily: “Oh, I think she’ll be fine with that, somehow.”

However, analysts suggest that this relationship may not be lasting, given the volatile nature of both parties. For now, Musk continues to make it clear that his affinity with the former president goes beyond the political realm, and his social media posts keep fueling the conversation.

From financing to the White House: Elon Musk, a key player in Trump's return

The relationship between Musk and Trump has evolved significantly in recent years, shifting from a distant interaction to close collaboration in the political and governmental sphere.

In July 2024, Musk committed to supporting Trump’s presidential campaign with a monthly donation of 45 million dollars, funneled through the super PAC "America PAC".

This fund aimed to register voters and promote early voting in key states. The financial support marked a milestone in the alliance between the two businessmen, solidifying Musk as a key ally in Trump's candidacy.

After Trump's electoral victory in November 2024, the creation of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) was announced, appointing Elon Musk as its director, alongside Vivek Ramaswamy.

The mission of this department is to transform the state apparatus by reducing bureaucracy and improving administrative efficiency. Trump described this initiative as potentially "the Manhattan Project of our time," emphasizing the magnitude of the proposed changes.

The collaboration reflected the convergence of interests between Musk and Trump, focused on government restructuring and the implementation of policies that, they claim, promote efficiency and reduce public spending.
