As for checked baggage, one piece weighing up to 23 kg will be permitted, with a maximum linear dimension of 158 cm.
"Important, from the second piece onwards it is considered excess baggage, and its acceptance will depend on the aircraft's capacity and charges will apply according to the established rate per kg on each route," the note adds.
An additional charge will also apply for any piece exceeding 23 kg that is within the 30 kg limit for cabin baggage. Cubana does not specify how much needs to be paid for that excess.
