A Cuban woman, mother of three, was violently arrested on the morning of this Wednesday after protesting alone in the "Ángel Fría" square in the municipality of Río Cauto.
"I'm leaving when the police come to get me," the woman replied to someone who told her to get off the stage.
“Do you know why I do it? Because I have three children. Look at them, there they are”, he added, pointing to a corner.
“It’s not because I give in that they are going to convince me,” he said at another moment.
“Where is the revolution that Fidel left behind? Where is the revolution that Raúl left behind? […] There is no revolution because everything has fallen apart, and I’m not going to blame President Canel, but who am I supposed to blame?”, he questioned.
A witness who shared two videos in a local Facebook group of Revolico specified that the citizen is a resident of the town of Guamo Viejo, in the aforementioned Granma municipality.
"They came to demand a solution to the problems we are facing, and I have a mother; I am against abuse," pointed out the internet user, who requested the images to be shared.
In the video, it's seen how dozens of people witnessed the scene, but did not respond or interact with the protester, who was ultimately forcefully removed from the stage.
The woman resisted, and the enforcers pushed her, which prompted support from those present, who consistently shouted: "Let her go!" "Abusers!" and other similar phrases.

Several internet users praised the courage of this Cuban mother while lamenting that no one joined her in the protest.
"The desperation of a mother who no longer knows what to do for her children. How much abuse, for God's sake! 'Where are the brave ones? Where is an entire town suffering who couldn't defend that woman?' 'She dared to speak up because she can't take it anymore, and she had the courage that many lack,' some commented. 'How cowardly all those were who only recorded instead of defending her.'"
"They should be ashamed for treating a woman this way, especially a tired mother like everyone else in the situation we are living in"; "The whole town is desperate, and only one woman dares to express it"; "My respect goes to her, a woman braver than all those who were watching and doing nothing," were other comments.
“This is what awaits us mothers: the pain of seeing our children cry from hunger and being unable to do anything”, lamented a commenter.
"If those who shouted 'Let her go!' had truly united, no one would have been able to take her away," a Cuban finally stated.
