Family and friends of the Cuban Ilianne Arcia Osorio turned to social media to report her disappearance seven days ago in the city of Bayamo, Granma, and to seek help amidst their distress.

In the group on Facebook Revolico Río Cauto, Amanda María Mojena Simón, cousin of the missing person, presented the situation regarding someone commonly known as “Bety” and urges anyone with information to come forward.

A similar drama is experienced by the family of Doraiky Águila Vázquez, a woman resident in the Havana municipality of Diez de Octubre who has been missing for three days; they are desperate for news.

For that reason, they have offered a monetary reward of 350,000 pesos to anyone who can locate her and keep her safe until the family arrives.

Meanwhile, a Cuban who had been missing since March 15 wasfound dead on Monday, buried in the yard of her own home in the province of Ciego de Ávila.

The victim -identified as Julia Salvadora Segura Guerra- had multiple stab wounds and, according to preliminary investigations, her husband is the main suspect in the crime.

The tragic event occurred in the municipality of Primero de Enero (more commonly known as Violeta), in the aforementioned province of Avila.

Authorities have detained the husband of the deceased, who is in custody while forensic experts continue to analyze the crime scene to clarify the details of what occurred.
