Due to the magnitude of the incident, the rescuers classified the event as a "multiple casualty incident" and mobilized additional resources, including the Technical Rescue Team (TRT), which stabilized the vehicle and used hydraulic tools to extract a trapped woman, who was urgently taken to the hospital.
In total, six people were involved in the accident. Five were taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, two of whom are in critical condition and two others are in serious but stable condition. Unfortunately, one of the victims has died.
A sixth person was evaluated on-site, but they refused to go to a medical center.
