A patching truck caught fire on Tuesday in the middle of the street, near the Cotorro Bridge —also known as San Pedro Bridge— at the boundary between the municipalities of Cotorro and San Miguel del Padrón, in Havana.

According to the report on Facebook by user Radimir Galán, the vehicle was engulfed in flames within minutes, causing alarm among pedestrians and drivers passing through the area. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

So far, the causes of the disaster have not been disclosed nor has there been an official assessment of the material damages.

On March 11th, a light Mercedes-Benz Vaneo, with license plate B 209391 and belonging to the Gardis Business Group, was completely destroyed after catching fire in the city of Matanzas.
