Actress Ana Luisa Rubio occupies her cousin's house after being evicted in Miami, and she ends up being arrested

Ana Luisa Rubio accused her cousin, an 86-year-old woman, of assaulting and kidnapping her in her home. The actress has several siblings and nieces and nephews in the U.S., but she has no relationship with any of them.

The actress Ana Luisa Rubio, remembered for her work on Cuban television and radio in the 1970s and 1980s, stayed at her cousin's house, who offered her shelter after being evicted in Miami, and this cousin ended up being detained.

The actors María Karla Rivero Veloz and her husband Jean Michel Fernández, who days earlier rushed to help Ana Luisa upon learning that she had been thrown out on the street, held a live stream on their YouTube channel where they revealed details about the artist's story that they were unaware of.

The couple learned that Ana Luisa and her cousin Noelia, an 86-year-old woman, had an argument. Noelia called the police, but when the officers arrived, the actress accused her of hitting her and of holding her captive in the house. As a result, Noelia ended up being arrested.

One piece of information that María Karla and Jean Michel were unaware of is that the actress has three siblings and several nieces and nephews in the United States who want nothing to do with her.

"Ana Luisa had told us that she didn't have any family here, and today we discovered that there is indeed a lot of family, but none of them have a relationship with her, due to her behavior - as her sister and cousins tell us - stemming from issues that have existed throughout her life, all the way from Cuba," Jean Michel detailed.

According to María Karla, they went to Noelia's house in Little Havana along with part of the family, but Ana Luisa refused to leave and would not let anyone in, not even her cousin's stepson, who is a co-owner of the house.

The actors called a psychologist, who spoke with her and recommended taking her to a hospital to receive treatment for her mental illness. However, the artist refused to leave her cousin's home.

The doctor then signed for her to receive mandatory care at a hospital. The family called the police, but she refused to open the door and "since there was no signed order from a judge, the police could not enter," María Karla clarified.

Ana Luisa Rubio was removed from her home in Miami over the weekend. She stated then to the YouTube channel La Casa de Maka that one of the main reasons for her forced eviction was having pets, something that apparently was not allowed in the community where she lived.

Rubio lived with three cats, which she described as her only family. After the eviction, she was not informed where the animals were taken, and she feared they might have been euthanized.

Days ago, she made an urgent call to the Cuban community in exile for support.

In a live broadcast on Facebook, he denounced what he described as a fraudulent judicial process and claimed to have been a victim of fraud, defamation, and abuse for over five years. According to his account, behind it all is the real estate company responsible for his building and a judge who allegedly operates under economic and political interests.

"I have lost over 35 pounds, I am sick, I have experienced a cardiac syncope, I have been through horrors," she recounted in a video where she appeared visibly affected. "My cats are my only family, and no one gives me answers," she lamented.

Several Cubans in the United States have asked for assistance in trying to resolve the housing rent of the actress, who is 78 years old and suffers from serious health issues, and was enrolled in a public housing Plan 8 in the United States.

The actress, known for iconic roles such as the one she played in the popular series "Si no fuera por mamá," aired on channel 6 of Cuban television, is now facing one of the most difficult moments of her life.
