The renowned Cuban repentista Juana Tomasa Quiala Rojas, better known as Tomasita, remains hospitalized in the Cardiology Service of the "Hermanos Ameijeiras" Clinical Surgical Hospital in Havana, where she is progressing in a clinically stable condition.
According to a report on Thursday from the medical institution via its official account on Facebook, the one recognized as “The Queen of Repentismo in Cuba” is hospitalized at the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital in a condition of clinical stability and good spirits, which —according to the report— “infects us at all times.”

"We want to call upon our great Cuban family to help the Queen of Cuban Repentismo, Tomasita Quiala, who is awaiting heart surgery," the post stated, adding later, "Tomasita is hospitalized at the Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital in Havana. We hope for a positive response to our request so that she can undergo surgery as soon as possible."
However, the Cuban improviser Emiliano Sardiñas confirmed this Wednesday on social media that Tomasita had “all her needs met”.
