A man died after being shot on Saturday night in the Gladeview neighborhood, in the northwest of Miami-Dade County; authorities confirmed to local media.

The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. in the area of the 2000 block of Northwest 65th Street. Sheriff's Office deputies responded to the scene after receiving reports of gunfire and found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire and Rescue teams pronounced him dead at the scene.

In recent weeks, there have been additional incidents involving the use of firearms in various areas of the county. At the end of April, a man was killed and another injured at a car dealership in Glenvar Heights, in a case linked to a family dispute. The attacker, the victim's half-brother, has been identified by the police and is currently in medical custody.

Days earlier, at the same dealership, another incident left several people injured by gunfire, and tactical units were deployed to secure the area. Also in Glenvar Heights, a shooting was reported in which three people were injured, including an alleged attacker.

In Little Havana, a teenager was shot near Henderson Park, while in Westview, a man was injured in front of a store after an argument with a woman who fled the scene. In both cases, the police initiated investigations and made related arrests.

On the other hand, during the Best of the Best festival in downtown Miami, a driver was shot by a police officer after colliding with him at a traffic checkpoint. The incident caused moments of confusion among event attendees, but it was not directly related to the festival.
