Two minors, identified as Ainhoa, just eight years old, and another girl named Lia, have been missing since this Sunday in the municipality of Florida, Camagüey.
The information was provided to the medium La Hora de Cuba by Yolanda Galbán, Ainhoa's grandmother, who explained that both girls left together and that the last time they were seen was at the Florida terminal, where they boarded a bus headed to Oriente.

"My granddaughter does not usually do this," declared Galbán, who noted that the other little girl, Lia, is the niece of her son-in-law.
The case was originally circulated on social media, through the Facebook group "Última hora, Camagüey", by the user Sonia Salmón, who indicated that the complaint had already been filed with the local police, who would be aware of the incident.
"This little girl is from the municipality of Florida in Camagüey province. Her name is Ainhoa, and she is 8 years old. She is missing, and her family is desperate because they have not heard anything about her. They only know that she left with an older girl with dark skin," Salomon said.
"There are those who tell the family that they saw them heading to Camagüey," pointed out the internet user, which suggests a different version from that reported by La Hora de Cuba.
"We understand the importance of coming together in the search, even if it's just by sharing," he emphasized.
In the Facebook group "Revolico Florida Céspedes", a user identified as Arlelly Galbán Hidalgo, a direct relative of one of the minors, provided new details about the disappearance.
"My cousin Ainhoa left early in the morning, she's with a little cousin of color, each one has a backpack," he wrote in a public post.
The family warned that both girls left without permission and requested that anyone who sees them not allow them to leave the area and to immediately call the number 58085814, which belongs to Ainhoa's grandmother, Yolanda Galbán.
The family earnestly requests the public's collaboration. Anyone who has information about the whereabouts of the minors can contact the family directly.
This fact adds to other recent cases of disappearances of minors in Cuba that have raised significant social concern.
Also, a 13-year-old girl, reported missing since May 14 in the municipality of Jovellanos, Matanzas, was found alive and in good health in the province of Mayabeque.
The minor was found in the municipality of Madruga, according to the profile associated with the Ministry of the Interior in Matanzas, Con Todos La Victoria, on Facebook.
Moreover, on May 17th, journalist Iris Mariño from the independent media La Hora de Cuba, reported the location of Emelis, a 12-year-old girl who had been missing for more than 24 hours in the city of Camagüey.
