A dispute between three individuals escalated into a shooting that left two injured on Saturday afternoon outside of an Aldi supermarket in South Florida, authorities reported.

According to the Miramar Police Department in Broward County, following the initial shooting, one of those involved fled the scene and headed to the nearby Aldi supermarket, where he mugged a woman to make his escape.
Shortly after, a man and a woman were shot outside the establishment. One of them was taken to the hospital by emergency services, while the other managed to arrive on their own.
The authorities in Broward, a neighboring county to Miami-Dade, are still investigating whether one of the injured individuals was involved in the original altercation at the apartment complex.
After a chase, the police managed to apprehend the suspected pickpocket, who fled the vehicle before being arrested.
