Three women, at least one of whom is of Cuban nationality, were arrested this Monday in Miami as a result of an undercover operation conducted by the Miami-Dade County Police.

The authorities accuse the detainees of offering sexual services to clients at two massage centers, which allegedly operated as fronts for prostitution activities.

The facts: Two spas under scrutiny

The operation focused on two businesses: Angelina Spa, located at 8390 West Flagler Street; and New Image Spa, situated at the intersection of Southwest 40th Street and 137th Avenue.

Police investigations were initiated following reports of illegal activities at these establishments.

According to reports, the rates for the sexual services offered ranged from 150 to 300 dollars.

At least one of the three women, Yorlenis Rodríguez, 45 years old, is of Cuban nationality, as revealed by the arrest report released by Univision.

The other two arrested, whose nationality has not been disclosed, are Heidi Ronda Pérez (34 years old) and Milenis González Torres (38 years old).

Yorlenis Rodríguez and Ronda Pérez were captured at Angelina Spa; while González Torres was arrested at New Image Spa.

Modus operandi: Direct proposals during massages

The operation was carried out with undercover agents who went to the establishments posing as customers.

In the case of Yorlenis Rodríguez, the arrest report notes that the detective initially paid 80 dollars for an hour of massage.

Once in the room, the woman explicitly offered a range of sexual services, using Spanish expressions such as: “hand,” “mouth,” “everything.”

The fees for these services ranged from 160 to 300 dollars, depending on the level of intimacy requested.

"The moment the undercover detective agreed, she started to touch the man's intimate areas, and that’s when the agents entered," the police report states.

In the case of Heidi Ronda Pérez, the agents surprised her while she was semi-nude.

According to the report, he offered sexual services to an undercover client, who declined. This behavior was sufficient to proceed with his arrest.

Milenis González Torres was also apprehended after interacting with an undercover agent.

In her case, the woman displayed some initial caution by asking the supposed client if he was a police officer.

After receiving a rejection, she proceeded to touch his intimate parts and, when asked about the cost, she responded that it would be 160 dollars. After receiving the money, she was immediately arrested.

Legal repercussions and current situation

The three women are facing charges related to the provision of sexual services, an activity that is considered a crime in Florida.

According to the county judicial system, Heidi Ronda Pérez was released after posting bail, while Rodríguez and González Torres remain in custody.

This case is not an isolated incident in Miami-Dade County, where authorities have increased surveillance in recent years on massage centers and spas that may be operating as undercover prostitution spots.

Covert operations, like the one that resulted in these arrests, aim to expose these illegal practices and send a clear message to business operators trying to evade the law.
