"My heart is about to explode with so much happiness," wrote a young Cuban as she shared on TikTok the moment she embraced her 93-year-old grandmother again, in an emotional reunion that took place at an airport in Brazil.

“God did not settle and gave me the greatest gift of my life. I was able to embrace my grandmother again,” added @ney__cruz in the video text, along with messages such as “Thank you, God, only you could make this dream come true” and “Thank you all for being with me through every process.”

The images show both of them intertwined in a long embrace while others around them watch, moved. The scene triggered a wave of reactions among the young woman's followers, many of whom identified with her story.

"I cried with you out of so much happiness," wrote a woman. Another commented, "How beautiful, I shed tears. It’s sad to be separated from our loved ones." Some people shared similar personal experiences: "I fought hard with my husband to bring my mom and our son to us. We succeeded, and now she wants to go back. This is so hard for me that just thinking about not seeing her chokes me with tears."

Messages of longing and nostalgia also multiplied: "I wish I could bring my grandfather back. How much I miss him," "You have no idea how much I would give to see my grandmother," "What a tremendous blessing," "I lost the only grandmother I had left and couldn't give her a final hug."

From Brazil, numerous welcome messages arrived: "Welcome to our Brazil," "May God always bless your life and your family as well," "Nothing is more exciting than seeing the family united," "The video made me cry. What a great blessing," "I am in the same situation. Blessings for your grandmother."

The young woman responded to many of these expressions of affection with phrases like "Thank you," "A thousand blessings," "Yesss, so much happiness," and "Thank you for so much love."

Before this post, I had shared another video celebrating the arrival of her cousin, whom she hadn’t seen for almost two years. “After almost 2 years, we embrace again,” she wrote in that post.

In October 2024, it also made headlines for a video in which it expressed an opinion on emigrating to the United States or Brazil. "Don't compare Brazil with the USA, get that idea out of your head. There is no comparison," it said at that time. Although it clarified that each migration experience is different, it emphasized that "your dreamed future only depends on you."

Her publications continue to evoke excitement among Cuban migrants who share the longing to reunite with their loved ones and continue bringing their families together.
