The affection for Asly and the sorrow over his early departure brought together dozens of people—including his parents Ricardo and Yusnely, his wife Adriana Ávila, other family members, motorcycle enthusiasts, and neighbors—at the intersection of Espadero Street and Acosta Avenue, the very spot where, on Sunday morning, the young man suffered the accident that took his life at the age of 28.
In that corner, a memorial plaque was erected, and a photo of Asly was placed there, in front of which those present laid flowers and lit candles.
To honor his memory, a caravan of motorcyclists departed from the Sports City and arrived at the site, where they revved their engines, making them roar in a sign of respect and admiration.
Expressions of grief and posthumous tributes to the young motorcyclist have also multiplied on social media.
His wife devoted a heartbreaking message on Facebook, where she expressed the love they shared: “¡¡¡¡Life is so unfair!!!! You dimmed my love, you took a piece of me that I will never get back, you were always my angel and now that you're not by my side, I ask God to give me the strength to learn to live without you because I will never be able to forget you, you broke me and took my life with you, YOU ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ANGEL in heaven and I only ask that wherever you are, you be the light you were here in life.”
It also evoked her husband’s passion for motorcycling: “You left being happy, you left doing what you love, you left riding, you left your tire marks and marked the streets you passed through. Fly high my champion, and wherever you are, embrace my heart that will always be yours.”
The couple had tied the knot a few weeks ago.
The Facebook account of the magazine Excelencias del Motor also paid tribute to Asly, as one of the members of the Biker family. The publication remembered him as “a fan of sport bikes,” who owned a 2016 Honda Fireblade and was an official member of Team 299, “champions in high displacement races, where he earned mentions and awards, including the runner-up trophy in the 600 CC category on a Yamaha R6.”
"Asley didn't leave, they just finished their route, (...) they simply crossed the finish line ahead of time, so every time a motorcycle roars, many will say, there goes Asley clearing the way to victory," the text emphasized.

Sunday morning plunged a Cuban family into mourning following the loss of one of its sons. Asly passed away due to a collision with a bus while riding his motorcycle on a street in the La Víbora neighborhood.
