La LeGGenda Pizzeria in Miami Beach and ‘O Munaciello, with locations in the MiMo district and Coral Way, were included among the 10 best pizzerias in the U.S. in 2025.
Both Neapolitan pizza establishments are repeated in the 2024 ranking created by the Italian guide Top 50 Pizza.
This time, ‘O Munaciello, which was in 55th place in the previous list, and La LeGGenda, in 45th place, tied at an impressive 10th position, placing them in the exclusive list of the top 10 pizzerias in the United States, reported El Nuevo Herald.
The owner and chef of La LeGGenda, Giovanni Gagliardi, born in Naples, said it is "a great honor to be recognized among the best pizzerias in the United States, but for me, it is also a reminder to keep striving, improving, and embracing every challenge," according to an Instagram post.
"I want to dedicate this award to all of you, our incredible and loyal customers; there are so many of you, and I am truly grateful," he added.
La Leggenda, located on Española Way in Miami Beach and founded by Gagliardi, who comes from a family of Italian pizzaiolos, is renowned for its Neapolitan pizza and gluten-free dough options, which have helped it become a favorite in the local scene.
Likewise, 'O Munaciello expressed gratitude on their official account to their clients, stating that they "make us love our work more and more each day!"
"Thanks to you, we continue to be the best pizzeria in Florida, and this year we ranked tenth in all of the United States. Thank you to all our employees and to the 'O Munaciello family around the world!" they added.
O' Munaciello, located in the historic MiMo district and on Coral Way, is an extension of the famous Florentine pizzeria, known for its authentic Neapolitan pizza, made with dough that ferments for 48 hours and is baked in a traditional brick oven visible from its open kitchen.
Another pizzeria from Florida, Fabrica Pizza, located in Tampa, is also on the list.
New York pizzerias dominate the list with 12 locations among the 50 best, including the number one spot, Una Pizza Napoletana by Anthony Mangieri.
