A Cuban has shared on social media her shopping experience at the popular Feria de la Cuevita, located in the San Miguel del Padrón municipality of Havana, which she described as "the cheapest fair in Cuba."
In a video posted on TikTok by user @adri.vlog01, the young woman demonstrates how a shopping Sunday unfolds in that busy commercial area, where she found relatively affordable prices for everyday products and gifts.
"It's Sunday and it's a bit empty," she comments as she walks through the fair, where she buys two bags for 2,500 Cuban pesos each, a small plush toy for her baby for 1,200 CUP, and two coffee mugs at 500 CUP each.
In addition, she buys three rechargeable light bulbs for 1,400 CUP each and a thermos for 1,600 CUP, among other items. Although the seller acknowledges that some prices have gone up, the customer feels that the products remain relatively affordable compared to other markets.
