A Cuban mother experienced from afar one of the most important moments in her daughter's life: the celebration of her quinceañera.

The emotional moment, shared on TikTok, shows the young woman in formal attire, wearing a crown and an elegant black dress, while her mother watches and supports her through a video call.

The text about the video reveals the reason for the separation: "The most awaited day has arrived and mom is behind the camera because of an I-220A," referring to the parole document used by the United States government for immigrants awaiting progress on their immigration cases.

In the images, the mother appears in a small window at the bottom corner, moved and smiling as she tries not to miss any details of the celebration.

The post has sparked messages of support and empathy from other Cubans who also face the painful reality of living far from their loved ones.

The case reflects the situation of thousands of families separated by migration processes, who are forced to share irreplaceable moments through a screen.
