The popular Cuban comedian and actor Alexis Valdés celebrated his 62nd birthday this Thursday in the way he enjoys most: creating and sharing with his audience.
In addition to expressing gratitude on social media for the numerous congratulations received, he announced the release of a new collaboration with the musician and singer Willy Chirino, titled ‘Hasta el fondo’.
“Today I celebrate another year, health, love, and a desire to create. I also celebrate the release of this song that I believe will make everyone dance,” Valdés expressed on his official profile, where he invited everyone to enjoy the music video available on his YouTube channel.
The theme marks another artistic collaboration between the comedian and the iconic Cuban salsa artist, who had previously joined forces in the successful project 'Yo soy cubano'. That song, released in 2021, became an anthem of identity for the diaspora and featured the participation of renowned musicians like Arturo Sandoval.
With "Hasta el fondo," Valdés and Chirino once again bet on the fusion of danceable rhythms and a message of optimism set to the beat of Santiaguera conga.
The music video, filled with humor and positive energy, reflects the camaraderie between both artists and their intention to continue sharing music with Cubans both on the island and abroad.
The collaboration comes at a special time, as Chirino continues to celebrate over five decades of his musical career, while Valdés reaffirms his role as a singer-songwriter, in addition to his work in theater and television.
The artistic duo has been warmly welcomed by their fans, who emphasize in the comments the value of music as a bridge between generations and as a reaffirmation of Cuban identity.
With this premiere, Valdés blows out the candles, sharing joy and reaffirming that, beyond humor, he also has much to sing about.
