A young Cuban woman has become a topic of discussion on TikTok after posting a video where she demonstrates her drastic change in fashion style, leaving behind outfits with brand logos, gold chains, and ripped jeans to embrace the old money style and quiet luxury, trends that are currently setting the standard in the fashion world.

"I am Cuban, and before I thought this was dressing well. Brand logos, tight and ripped jeans, lots of gold; the thicker the chains, the better. I grew up thinking this was dressing well until I discovered the old money style and luxury quiet, which completely changed the way I dress," the young woman wrote in the clip posted on her TikTok account @yamis.jr.

In the video, the Cuban woman begins with a typical ostentatious look: a cap with a brand logo, gold chains, and tight pants. She then transforms her image with several outfits that embrace simplicity, elegant cuts, and understated accessories, achieving an air of sophistication that many praised on social media.

"I am proudly Cuban and I am here to show that Cubans also have good taste, and I teach other girls how to elevate their style with class and elegance," she added.

The outfits she wears include combinations of wide-brimmed hats, fresh linen blouses, light-colored wide-leg pants, and minimalist bags, contrasting with the glitz and excess of the first outfit.

The video has generated hundreds of comments, many of which celebrate the transformation and the message it conveys. “I hope it goes viral so that some people in Miami can understand class and sophistication,” commented one user, while others emphasized that beyond brands, true style lies in elegance and good taste.
