The Cuban reggaeton artist El Chulo launched a strong attack against producer Roberto Ferrante and singer Charly, with whom he has been in an ongoing dispute for weeks. In a new series of social media posts, the artist criticized the way Ferrante manages Charly's career and that of other talents who remain in Cuba, suggesting that their careers are stagnating.

In a video posted on Instagram, El Chulo throws a pointed remark without filters: “You have a musical dictatorship”. Although he doesn't mention Charly by name at that moment, the message is clearly directed at him, given their history that includes public exchanges and even a challenge to a boxing match. “You could be here enjoying the pleasures of life in Miami, but Roberto Ferrante signed you,” he remarked, suggesting that the record label has limited his visibility and the poor decision of signing with the Italian's record company.

Ferrante's response was swift. In a sarcastic tone, he commented in the same video: "That pool looks very cheap. Did they steal the car or did the bank take it due to unpaid bills?" El Chulo didn't let the provocation slide and replied to the comment in his stories, directly pointing at the producer and his way of managing the artists in his catalog.

From that point on, El Chulo raised the stakes. “Remove Bebeshito, who is a consort, and Ja Rulay, who is my brother, and from all the artists in your catalog, none come close to the silver third that I have. You must be crazy,” he said while filming himself from his car and before showcasing his Rolls Royce as a symbol of success beyond any record label.

“When I get home, I'm going to show you a video of my car. Poor thing. Name an artist who has built a swimming pool that cost them 100 thousand dollars. Go on, tell me Ferrante”, the singer added. He has often used his possessions as a way to validate his independence and economic success, in contrast to what he claims to be poor management in the Cuban industry.

In the harshest part of his statements, El Chulo referred to Ferrante as “a drunk and a con artist”, accusing him of taking advantage of young artists on the island. “He is scamming all those kids in Cuba,” he declared, and added that Ferrante “doesn't even know what he's talking about,” while reaffirming his stance with the phrase: “There are tickets here.”

The confrontation between El Chulo and Charly is no longer just musical. Both artists have publicly challenged each other to a boxing match, and the tensions continue to escalate. A dispute that has also involved the singer Mawell. The Cuban urban scene watches the conflict closely, as the debate about the role of producers and the power they wield to boost or hinder an artist's career intensifies.
