The young Cuban trumpeter Arlen Borrego Miranda, from Mantua, Pinar del Río, was awarded the Warner Music Latina 2025 Scholarship to study at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, United States.

According to the Spanish profile of Berklee College of Music on Facebook, the scholarship was awarded during the 2025 Scholarship Ceremony organized in collaboration with the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation, which provided a total of 50 aids to students from around the world.
In the same ceremony, the Catalan saxophonist Aina López Pla was also recognized with the Emerging Talent 2025 scholarship.
For its part, the Latin GRAMMY Cultural Foundation highlighted on social media that the ceremony took place at the Frost School of Music in Miami and featured a special performance by Venezuelan singer-songwriter Elena Rose, who is nominated for both the Latin GRAMMY and the GRAMMY.

Arlen began his musical journey at the Art School of Pinar del Río, where he entered without any family background in music.
Inspired by her teacher Janio Abreu, a former Berklee student, she continued her training until she became one of the island's most prominent young trumpet players.
