Gretchen Revé, daughter of the musician Elito Revé, passed away at just 28 years old, as announced this Saturday by the official account of the band.
"It pains us to say goodbye, but we find comfort in the wonderful moments we shared together. You will always live on in the heart of Orquesta Revé and especially in mine; you have left an indelible mark on our lives," Elito Revé and his Charangón said on Facebook.
"As a father, what can I say… although the time you spent on this earth was too brief, it was enough to engrave your love and memory in my soul and my heart... I carry you with me and will carry you forever in my memory," reads the post, apparently written by the musician.
“Your family and your eternal Revé bid you farewell with love, hoping for the day when we will meet again,” he adds.
