A sweet gesture from a Cuban child in an elementary school is touching thousands of users on social media, after a video went viral showing him handing a rose to a classmate.

The images show the little boy, dressed in his school uniform, walking with a flower hidden behind his back as he approaches the girl. When he reaches her desk, he kneels and presents the rose in a gallant gesture that elicited applause and comments filled with admiration.

The video was shared on TikTok and quickly gathered reactions that highlight the child's kindness and the upbringing he received at home.

"Teaching a child to be attentive to details reflects very well on the parents," wrote one user. Another noted, "That child clearly has parents who are like gold; the attention to detail says it all, just like they are."

There were also those who compared him to gestures that are rarely seen in the new generations: “They are raising him like a child from the 60s, which we haven't seen in a long time. How beautiful, so many adults have to learn from that lovely child!” commented another person.

For many internet users, the scene was like witnessing the "dream prince" that every girl deserves. "I would like another daughter, but I also wish for a prince to teach her how to love well and who will never hurt any girl," noted one user, while another praised the young boy for showing respect and affection in such a spontaneous manner: "Like the old school."

The simple yet heartfelt gesture has been seen as an example of the values that can be instilled from childhood, and today, thanks to the viral nature of social media, it inspires thousands of people both inside and outside of Cuba.
