In the video posted on the account @raidel_ramirez.5, the young man explained that the ticket alone cost him 600 dollars, as he purchased it through an agency that organizes flights to Cuba. Additionally, he allocated 250 dollars for buying toys, sweets, coloring books, school supplies, and other items, which he distributed among the children in his village.
With part of the money, he organized two group outings: one to the beach and another to the Terrazas and the San Juan River. On both occasions, he rented a whole bus to transport dozens of friends, for whom he also covered the entry fees to the recreational sites. That experience, he claimed, cost him around 283 dollars.
The Cuban recounted that he exchanged 120 dollars for Cuban pesos for everyday expenses, such as fast food and small outings. He also dedicated 130 dollars to treat his mother and several companions to a restaurant in Havana, which he described as expensive for the national context. Finally, he gave around 100 dollars as direct assistance to relatives and friends.
