Alexander Delgado, leader of the Cuban duo Gente de Zona, broke the silence after the dramatic fall he suffered on Saturday during the concert held at Hertz Arena in Florida, as part of the group's 25th-anniversary tour.

In a video shared on his social media, the artist known as El Monarca wanted to reassure his followers: "I want to thank everyone for their concern about the fall. I'm doing very well, nothing happened. If you see in the picture, I slipped on the reference and fell, but it's all good, I got back up, I didn't hit myself hard enough to cause any problems. I'm fine, thank you for your concern."

Delgado added that he dedicated Sunday to resting and that he recovered without complications. "The important thing is that the concert was spectacular, and everyone had a great time. That's what matters. I love you all, and I'll see you," he stated while practicing tennis.

The incident, which went viral on social media, occurred while the reggaeton artist was performing one of the group's hits. Despite the fall, he quickly got back on his feet and continued the show with the same energy, a gesture that was applauded by his fans.

The concert was marked by the return to the stage of Jacob Forever, former member of Gente de Zona, who performed some of the songs that defined the group's history alongside Delgado and Randy Malcom.

This is not the first time Delgado has experienced an incident live; he also had a fall at the Lo Nuestro Awards 2023. However, his charisma and professionalism continue to be the hallmark that sets him apart on stage.
