The Cuban delegation celebrated this Saturday with enthusiasm the silver medal won by Ulicer Aguilera in the javelin throw, F13 category, during the World Para Athletics Championship in New Delhi 2025.
Aguilera, Paralympic bronze medalist in Paris 2024, achieved a distance of 63.37 meters in his second attempt, securing second place in the competition, according to the digital site JIT. This distance represented a new continental record and surpassed his previous best mark (62.51 m), as well as his performance for the season, which was around 59 meters.
