The police interrogations of two women connected to the main suspect in the murder of the Cuban singer El Taiger have come to light and provide a disturbing glimpse into the事件.
The witnesses, identified as Reina Richard and Solayne de la Caridad García Valdés, were interrogated for several hours in the days leading up to Valdes Galloso's arrest.
The recordings, now released by Telemundo 51, are part of the key evidence in the investigation.
According to police records, one of them lived in the same house where the alleged crime took place, and her proximity to the accused's environment makes her testimony a key piece in the case.
Solayne de la Caridad García Valdés, the ex-partner of Damián Valdés Galloso's son, told the detectives that she was sleeping in one of the rooms of the house when she heard noises and was awakened by the accused himself.
He would have told him that El Taiger “had hit his head” and that he should take him to the hospital.
Throughout the interrogation, García expressed his confusion, stating that the singer had arrived at the residence in seemingly good condition and that he had not noticed any issues between him and Valdes Galloso.
"He told me that he hit his head and that he was going to take him to the hospital, but when I saw the news, that's when I found out it wasn't a head injury," said García Valdés, visibly affected during her statement.
According to the agents, he was not only present in the house when the events occurred, but he also witnessed the moment when Valdes Galloso transferred the singer's body to a vehicle. The detectives claimed to have video footage that confirmed this sequence.
Altercations and contradictions
The woman also admitted that on the same day she had an altercation with the accused, although no additional details were provided regarding the reason for the dispute.
This confrontation adds a new layer of tension to the already charged atmosphere in the house.
The other witness, Reina Richard, was also questioned for hours.
Although his testimony has been less publicly exposed, sources close to the investigation indicate that his statement helped establish the timeline of events.
Their role within the household and their proximity to those involved are still being evaluated by the authorities.
New visual evidence
The interrogations are not the only material that has come to light. In previous weeks, photographs of the interior of the house where El Taiger died were circulated, revealing clear signs of violence and disorder.
This visual evidence reinforces suspicions that the initial account of an accident might be part of a cover-up strategy.
The recent revelations contrast with the suspect's initial claim that El Taiger simply had a fall.
The presence of witnesses, images from the scene, and videos from the moment the body was removed from the residence suggest a much more complex scenario.
The leak of these videos marks a new chapter in the legal proceedings against Damián Valdes Galloso. The trial is scheduled to begin on December 8.
If found guilty, Damian Valdez Galloso could face life imprisonment.
