The Puerto Rican Jlexis, one of the most talked-about contestants from La Casa de Alofoke 2, is surprising the Latino audience as it is revealed that he recorded a collaborative track with the Cuban Bebeshito, one of the most popular names in the urban genre on the Island.
The collaboration, titled “Voy a Toa”, premiered a year ago under the Planet Records Cuba/Miami label and features production by Ernesto Losa. The music video, filmed among neon lights, pool tables, and an urban setting, has garnered over 1.4 million views on YouTube, where thousands of users are now leaving comments after recognizing Jlexis from his time on the Dominican reality show.
"Here are those who just found out about this topic and came from Alofoke 2!", comments a user with hundreds of 'likes'. Others write: "Cuba and Puerto Rico united, the distribution went global," celebrating the musical collaboration between the two Caribbean artists.
In La Casa de Alofoke 2, Jlexis shares living space with personalities such as Pollito Tropical, Gracie Bon, and Michael Flores, his fellow Boricua. The show, produced by Santiago Matías, brings together 20 participants from different countries competing for five million Dominican pesos and a Ferrari Purosangue.
Without intending to, Jlexis's participation in the reality show has reignited the topic with Bebeshito, making "Voy a Toa" one of the most talked-about songs among fans of the Cuban cast and followers of the Dominican show.
