The popular Cuban YouTuber Ariagna González, known on social media as La Damosky, has sparked debate among her followers after posting a video in which she requested that men speak to her with respect and elegance.

“I am a woman, and women don’t say ‘asere qué volá’. Well, decent Cuban women, the refined and educated ones, don’t speak like that,” said the influencer in her message.

La Damosky clarified that not all Cubans use such colloquial expressions and argued that the women of the island know how to communicate with grace.

"Those who use the phrase ‘asere qué volá’ are men. That's a vocabulary of tough guys, streetwise men, and that kind of environment. Speak to me nicely," she insisted, emphasizing that being Cuban does not mean being vulgar or crude.

The video has received comments from its followers, where some support his stance on speech, while others believe that everyone has their own way of expressing themselves.

La Damosky is once again establishing herself as one of the most controversial and followed female voices in Cuban entertainment on social media.
