The Cuban reggaeton artist Ja Rulay returned to Havana this Thursday, after several days in the eastern part of the country, where he actively participated in delivering humanitarian aid to families affected by Hurricane Melissa.

In a series of videos posted on his Instagram stories, the artist shared an update with his followers:

“I am here to inform you that I am already in Havana. I was in Holguín, and next week we will continue donating, but we have to work because last week I suspended the concerts, so this week we need to work,” said the reggaeton artist, who offered a concert on that same Thursday at a venue in the capital. “Fulfilling my commitments to my people, but not forgetting that we have work to do.”

With his characteristic friendly tone, Ja Rulay made it clear that, although he is returning to his musical commitments, he will continue to be involved in charitable work in the coming days.

The performer has collaborated with the project La Familia Cubana, alongside actor Alejandro Cuervo and Teresa Padrón, a group that distributes donations sent from Miami to communities affected by the cyclone in the eastern part of the country.

During his stay in that region, Ja Rulay was seen unloading boxes, visiting affected homes, and personally delivering aid, a gesture widely recognized by his followers and colleagues in the urban genre.

His return to Havana marks a temporary pause in his humanitarian work, but also the fulfillment of his professional commitments, something the artist himself emphasized with a sense of responsibility: "I am fulfilling my obligations to my people, but without forgetting that we have work to do."

In recent days, his girlfriend, Marell Infante also shared messages of support and pride for him, highlighting his empathy and commitment to families in need.

With his message, Ja Rulay demonstrates that behind the urban artist lies a compassionate man, aware of his influence and committed both to his audience and to his country.
