Camila Guiribitey has once again taken social media by storm, this time not for her luxurious travels or impeccable style, but for her humorous responses to the criticisms she has faced after joining TikTok Shop. The Cuban influencer, known for her glamorous lifestyle and business mindset, made it clear that there is nothing wrong with seizing an opportunity, regardless of its origin.
In a video with her mother, Camila mocked those who question why a millionaire sells products online. “Mom, I'm trending, we went viral because I sell on TikTok Shop. From millionaires to poor. The money is gone,” she says with laughter, as they both recreate a funny sketch that ended up going viral.
Far from being offended, the content creator took the criticism as an opportunity to do what she does best: entertain and profit. In her post, she wrote with her characteristic touch of irony: “Since we’re a trending topic, let’s monetize,” a phrase that her followers quickly turned into an instant motto.
Hours later, Camila shared another clip where she is seen wearing a designer pajama alongside La Mamilover: "Women no longer cry, women get paid. Businesswomen do not let opportunities slip by." Her fans celebrated the attitude and positive message that, once again, position her as a role model for independence and confidence.
But the entrepreneur also took the time to personally respond to comments. To a user who questioned why a "millionaire" was selling on TikTok, Camila replied without losing her elegance: "Perhaps that's why I'm a millionaire, because I never say no to opportunities to create income."
In another message, she was even more direct: “Who said that having money means just spending? Never turn down an opportunity to earn income. As long as it’s honest work, go for it”. Her words received hundreds of applause and showed that, far from an image of superficiality, there is a practical woman behind them, down-to-earth with a very clear vision of the value of hard work.
Camila Güiribitey has managed to turn the controversy around with humor, authenticity, and a smile. And, as she herself says, if something goes viral, it's best to take advantage of it. Because in her world, criticism also turns into opportunities for profit.
