The Cuban reggaeton artist Yomil has ignited social media once again with the teaser of his new song alongside artist Niwo. However, beyond the catchy rhythm, it is the lyrics of the song that have sparked a wave of comments, with many followers interpreting them as a subtle jab at his ex-partner, influencer Daniela Reyes.
In the clip shared by Yomil on his social media, you can hear: “It seems you forgot that I’m the one who makes you feel / More than 200 years could pass, but your face will never lie to me / What we have is a relationship that doesn't end, that won’t die / Even if you don’t want to, I’m still the owner, you can tell him.”
Later he adds: “Mom, please explain, tell him that what you and I have is personalized / It touches you but you don't want to flaunt it, that's a sin / In your life, I am the future, the present, and the past.”
These lines were enough for fans to start speculating whether the message was directed at Daniela Reyes, who, according to rumors, might be experiencing a new romance.
The debate intensified even further when, just a few days ago, Yomil clarified that he is single and not in a relationship, following comments linking him to singer Hallel Génesis. At that moment, the artist asserted that he does not have a partner and that only his family and loved ones know what is happening in his life.
Everything seems to indicate that Yomil continues to channel his emotions through music, and this time, with lyrics that many feel have a clear recipient.
