Content creator Miguelín, founder of the channel Las locuras de Miguelín and producer of the podcast De La Vida, spoke for the first time following the controversial departure of Juliette Valle and the harsh criticism he has faced alongside La Flaca Verónica for the decision.
“I was wrong for not being strong; I put friendship above professionalism, and it shouldn't have been that way,” Miguelín wrote in a story posted on his Instagram account, acknowledging that handling the conflict within the group was a mistake. “Everything fell apart. If you are disappointed, let me tell you that I am too,” he added.
His words come amidst the uproar that has shaken the channel in recent hours. The expulsion of Juliette from the podcast De La Vida —a decision made by La Flaca Verónica following her breakup with the young woman— sparked a wave of outrage on social media, where many fans labeled the decision as “unjust” and “unprofessional.”
The slim Verónica, after the excitement of the show, publicly explained her reasons. “I didn’t feel comfortable working with her. Every time we had a fight, I would miss the podcast, and I had already missed it after this last breakup,” she admitted in a series of Instagram stories. The influencer asked his followers not to attack the rest of the team and assured that the decision was “painful, but necessary.”
For his part, Miguelín expressed regret over the group's breakup and hinted that the tension could jeopardize the future of the program. “The remaining programs are already recorded. If I can't resolve this by January first, the program will be canceled. We all need to be in this together or not at all, and that's final,” he warned, making it clear that without reconciliation, there will be no continuation.
