The Cuban dancer and content creator William López, known on social media as @iamcubaa_, shared a video that has stirred excitement among his followers, showcasing the enthusiastic reaction of the audience during a party in Italy where he and his group were invited to perform.

The invitation came from the renowned Italian dancer Vanessa Lacedonia (@vanessalacedonia), founder of the dance school VL Academy in the Puglia region of southern Italy.

The performance by the Cuban dancers was part of a dance school celebration leading up to the Christmas festivities, which explains the predominance of girls and teens in the audience.

In other videos from the party, it is made clear that students of different ages and educational levels participate in the event. It was a practical class on Cuban dances in Italy.

In the images, which exceed 8,000 “likes” on Instagram, Cuban dancers can be seen performing popular rhythms from the island, while the audience responds with enthusiasm, cheers, and applause in reaction to the display of energy and charisma on stage.

"Oh the Cubans... What do you all think? The vibe doesn't lie," López wrote alongside the video, in which he jokes about the passion with which Italians embrace Latin music.

In the comments, several users agreed that the rhythm and spontaneity of the Cubans were what truly captivated the attendees.

The video reaffirms the growing impact of Cuban culture in Europe, particularly in Italy and Spain, where urban and traditional genres from the island, such as reparto and salsa, continue to gain popularity.

William López, who resides in Barcelona and has amassed over 300,000 followers on TikTok, has established himself as one of the most active representatives of Cuban dance abroad, collaborating with academies and European creators that promote cultural exchange through dance.
