The Cuban-American Leinier Domínguez wrapped up a strong performance, finishing undefeated in the World Rapid Championship that concluded on December 28 in Doha, Qatar.

Leinier concluded that he finished with six victories and seven draws after the tiebreaker system, in a tournament dominated by the Norwegian star Magnus Carlsen.

According to the independent Cuban media Swing Completo, this position generates a profit of 23 thousand euros for the güinero.
