This January 1st, the Cultural Yoruba Association of Cuba announced the Letter of the Year 2026, a document of profound spiritual tradition that contains the predictions and guidance of Ifá for Cuba and the rest of the world.

The Ifá priests gathered at their headquarters in Havana to conduct rituals and consult the oracle, with the aim of defining the teachings and recommendations that will guide the new cycle.

Devotees of the Yoruba religion, as well as those seeking harmony, prosperity, and balance in the upcoming year, are called to heed the warnings and spiritual advice of this Letter, which serves as a sacred guide for facing the personal and collective challenges of 2026.

Ifá Predictions for Cuba and the World

To the priests of Ifá, Obá Oriate, Babaloshas, Iyaloshas, Iworos, and the general public:

On December 31, 2025, at the headquarters of the Religious Institution Yoruba Cultural Association of Cuba, located at Prado #615 between Monte and Dragones, Old Havana Municipality, Havana, Cuba, the Ifá priests gathered to conduct the Letter of the Year 2026 ceremony, presided over by the chief Ifá priest Carlos Argudín Valenzuela “Awo Ogunda She Omo Ala Aggayú”, with the support of the Board of Directors, the Councils of Senior Priests of the Republic of Cuba, provincial extensions, branches abroad, and guests from other nations, following a consultation of the 25 prescribed positions and sacrifices.
