The Hialeah Police Department is seeking the community's assistance in identifying two individuals involved in a possible kidnapping that occurred early Tuesday morning in the area of West 27th Avenue and 52nd Street.

According to authorities, a woman called 9-1-1 after believing she witnessed a crime, reported the channel Telemundo 51.

The detectives reviewed the surveillance cameras in the area and confirmed that the footage supports the witness's account.

So far, the police have not received reports of missing persons that match the description of the woman seen in the video.

However, researchers indicated that the incident does not appear to have been random and that the man and the woman may know each other.

"The main concern of the authorities is the immediate well-being of the woman," stated the official report released by the Police Department.

The police released images from the video and provided the following descriptions:

  • Person of interest (suspect): White male, approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, dressed entirely in black and wearing a blue cap.
  • Possible victim: White woman with long black hair, wearing a gray sweatshirt, khaki sweatpants, and black sandals.
  • Suspicious vehicle: White Ford F-150 Platinum Edition, modified, with distinctive black rims.

Authorities have urged anyone who recognizes the individuals or the vehicle to contact the police.

“Don’t assume that your information is insignificant; any detail, no matter how minor it seems, could be key to clarifying the case”, the agents reminded.

Anyone with information about the suspect, the potential victim, or the vehicle involved should contact the Hialeah Police Department immediately at (305) 687-2525.
