The year has just begun and El Chacal already has his followers counting down the days. The Cuban singer announced his first release of 2026: “Vivito y coleando,” a collaboration with Ronkalunga that promises to be one of the most powerful tracks of the season.

The artist himself shared a preview on Instagram along with a message that raised expectations: “If you're alive and well in 2026, don't miss this premiere on January 9.” It took just a few hours for the post to fill up with fire and applause. From Jacob Forever to Yuliet Cruz, they reacted with emojis and messages of support.

Fan comments quickly flooded social media: “The collaboration we didn’t know we needed,” “This 2026 is ours,” “Now it’s really getting good” were some of the most repeated phrases. Many highlighted the energy between both artists and the fresh sound of the shared preview.

For his part, Ronkalunga also expressed gratitude for the project, stating that working with El Chacal was “an incredible experience” and that the song reflects “the union of two Cuban artists who continue to make music with soul.”

"Vivito y coleando" will officially premiere on January 9, but it has already achieved what few manage to do before releasing a track: getting everyone talking. If 2026 has started off this way, everything indicates that it will be a year of great collaborations and plenty of Cuban music to discuss.
