Florida authorities arrest a 28-year-old Cuban man for alleged abuse of a minor

A 28-year-old man of Cuban origin was arrested in Palm Beach County, Florida, after being accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 16-year-old girl while residing at a property belonging to the minor's family, local media reported.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded Monday to a residence after receiving a report of an alleged inappropriate relationship between an adult and a minor.

Upon arriving at the location, the teenager provided a sworn statement in which she claimed that the incidents occurred repeatedly while her parents were away for work-related reasons.

According to the police report, the accused, identified as Alieski Ramosleon, lived in a trailer located on the family property during the period when the events allegedly took place.

Subsequently, detectives assert that the man admitted to authorities that he had had intimate contact with the minor on multiple occasions over the past two months.

Ramosleon was arrested and transferred to the county jail, where he faces multiple charges related to offenses against minors, according to Florida state law. So far, he remains in custody as the legal proceedings continue.

The authorities reminded that cases of this nature are treated with special priority and emphasized the importance of reporting any situation that threatens the safety of children and adolescents.
