The Cuban presenter Alexander Otaola has once again spoken out about La Diosa, after the singer sent him a direct message from El Rancho de Destino, the reality show in which she has been participating for just a few days.

In one of the most talked-about episodes of the show, La Diosa asked for “a little bit of respect” from her friend Otaola, after Fernan told her that the host had questioned her participation in the show, labeling it as “professional downgrade.” “I work, I fight, and I have my money. I only ask that you respect my friendship just a little bit,” the artist said firmly, before reaffirming her political message: “I am here sending the message: Down with the dictatorship!” Now, the host of Hola! Ota-Ola responded from his YouTube channel, making his position clear.

“ If Destino pays me 100 thousand dollars, I’ll go to the reality show for an hour and greet everyone. But I tell you, my dear Goddess, enjoy yourself, have a great time, you look so beautiful, but I don’t think this can contribute much to your career”, Otaola commented, assuring that he is not against the artist, although he does not agree with her decision to join the program.

The presenter added that he prefers to stay away from that kind of environment: “I, Otaola, do not get involved in that. I protect my image, my surroundings, and my mental health. Bryan the Joker also didn't need to do it, and I told him so. He said he wanted to live the experience. To me, that's a total waste of time”

Even with his criticisms, Otaola clarified that he is not at odds with La Diosa and that he continues to value her talent. “She told me she was going to join, and I responded that I didn’t need it, that this reality show was not on her level. She is a very talented artist, and I know they will pay her for that. But, honestly, that stage is very mediocre.” he pointed out.

Meanwhile, La Diosa continues in El Rancho de Destino, where she has already starred in several viral moments and remains one of the most talked-about contestants of this new season.

Here, you can see the moment when Otaola responds to La Diosa's words. The host discusses the topic starting at minute 1:33:00 of his program.
