Kenny Robert opened his heart on El Rancho de Destino and spoke candidly about the tough moment he is experiencing in the competition. In a message looking into the camera, the Cuban creator confessed to feeling disappointed by the lack of support he perceives from outside the reality show, especially from people he considered close.
“I was in fifth place, then I moved up to sixth, and today I’m in eighth”, he recounted. “It’s not mandatory for people to support you, but you do feel the pressure. I am desperate. I only ask for support from the businesses I work with and my friends; I don’t want to drop out of the competition”, he said, clearly affected.
Her words quickly sparked reactions, and one of the most discussed was from Samantha Hernández, who came to his defense with a powerful message. “I am a witness to how many ‘friends’ and businesses reach out to him when it suits them. Sometimes he even does work for them for free, and none of them have been able to even call his mom to see how she’s doing,” she wrote. “Anyone who knows Kenny knows that his mother is his life, and that it’s just the two of them. I dare say he is one of the few genuine ones in that ranch... and the ranch is too big for him.”
Samantha's comment went viral and sparked a wave of support for the influencer. "Team Kenny always," "He doesn't deserve to feel this way," and "His true followers are with you," wrote some users. Many also pointed out that a significant portion of his audience lives in Cuba and cannot participate financially in the show's format.
Despite the moment of frustration, Kenny remains one of the most beloved contestants of the reality show. His authenticity, consistency, and connection with the audience keep him as one of the most genuine figures of the show, even when the cameras are off.
