With just eight years of age, Alana Martina, daughter of Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodríguez, has taken social media by storm with her voice. The young girl went viral after her mother shared a video in which she passionately performs My Heart Will Go On, the unforgettable song from Titanic made famous by Céline Dion.
The video, recorded by Georgina in her home gym, shows Alana sitting with her phone in hand, following the lyrics, focused and singing in almost perfect English. While the scene is simple, her voice and naturalness captured the attention of thousands of people, who quickly flooded social media with messages of affection and surprise at her talent.
It is not the first time that Alana has shown an interest in music. She had previously appeared in videos singing Let It Go from Frozen and Si No Estás by the Spanish artist Íñigo Quintero. Additionally, both she and her sister Eva María take music lessons: Alana studies violin and Eva studies piano, something their mother has proudly displayed on more than one occasion.
The Ronaldo-Rodríguez family is used to capturing attention, but this time it’s not for football or fashion. Cristiano, who lives in Saudi Arabia with Georgina and their children, often shares family moments on social media, where they can be seen enjoying their daily life away from the stadiums and red carpets.
Although it is still early to know if Alana will pursue an artistic path, it is evident that her interpretation of Titanic has made it clear that the talent in Cristiano and Georgina's household goes far beyond sports. This is a testament to the fact that, even in the most media-driven family in football, simple moments remain the most special.
