An emotional and solidarity-filled gesture touched thousands of followers on social media after content creators Claudia Artiles and Ultrack surprised Mía, a young Cuban who has just arrived in the United States to receive treatment for cancer.

The scene, shared on Instagram and TikTok, shows the moment when the girl receives a huge teddy bear, a gift that sparked smiles, hugs, and even tears. Mia's reaction, embracing her teddy bear, quickly touched the hearts of those who watched the video on social media.

According to Claudia Artiles, Mía's arrival in the country was made possible thanks to the collective effort of many content creators and supportive individuals who rallied to assist the family during the migration process.

The gesture from Claudia Artiles and Ultrack not only brought joy to Mía, but also helped to highlight her story and remind us of the positive impact that social media can have when used to support human causes.

Mía is suffering from metastatic neuroblastoma in stage four, a highly aggressive form of childhood cancer that was diagnosed in Cuba following a medical process marked by errors and lack of resources. During her time in Costa Rica, the girl received chemotherapy and underwent a high-risk surgery, as the tumor was involving the aorta and vena cava.
